Ronda Rousey recently talked about how a top AEW star helped her work through one of their major matches against one another in WWE and took control of things as they prepared to present a decent match to fans. This would be Mercedes Moné, formerly known as Sasha Banks.

Both women have shared the ring on multiple occasions when they were both associated with WWE but one match they were known for was in 2019, when they were in a feud. The Baddest Woman on the Planet put her RAW Women's Championship on the line against Moné at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event that year and the former came out on top.

During her appearance on Ring the Belle, Ronda Rousey talked about how at the time she was not confident in her in-ring abilities, so she asked Mercedes Moné to be the one to plan the match. They then worked together and coordinated regarding how they would pull off the match. The 37-year-old completely trusted The CEO and the match went well.

"I basically told her: 'I don't know what I'm doing, you make this match! I'll do whatever you want!' I flew out to meet her in New York, with her friend, Red," Ronda Rousey said. Mone and her friend then pieced together the match, and Rousey even says that she was taught how to catch a Suicide Dive. Rousey then reiterated that she deferred to Mone's expertise, and admitted that she didn't know what she was doing, but that she's coachable and good at taking direction. "So, I put all that trust into her, and it was like, 'You make the match and I will do it.'" [H/T WrestlingINC]

Ronda Rousey also talked about a moment they had post-match where Sasha Banks turned back around, looked her in the eye, and raised out four fingers, a reminder that she was still one of The Four Horsewomen. She mentioned how this was unscripted, but was a moment of respect, and reminding people who they were.

"Her coming out afterward was an unscripted moment, we didn't plan that out or anything like that," Ronda Rousey claimed. "It really just spoke volumes to the differences between us, and where we're coming from and how people felt about this world." [H/T WrestlingINC]

It remains to be seen whether the 37-year-old joins any major wrestling promotion somewhere down the line.

Ronda Rousey also recently praised a current WWE champion

During her recent live stream on YouTube, Ronda Rousey got to talk about someone she feuded with in the past, and how she loved working with her. This would be Liv Morgan.

The former WWE Superstar talked about how she has always praised the reigning Women's World Champion, as she was amazing in the ring. She talked about how unfortunately for her, the Stamford-based company did not handle their run together that well.

"Let’s be honest. I love Liv (Morgan). She’s like my freaking favorite. You guys read my book. There’s a lot of talking about how amazing she is in there and how they did us dirty during our run, but you know, that’s neither here nor there," Ronda Rousey said. [H/T POST Wrestling]

In the few years she spent wrestling full-time, Ronda Rousey got an opportunity to share the ring with several major superstars in the business.
