A fan recently made some disrespectful comments about Ricochet and his career on social media. Samantha Irvin, who had initially posted the news about her exit from WWE, fired back at the fan in response.
Most fans believe Ricochet's run on NXT was amazing. He quickly rose to the top of the brand and even became the NXT North American Champion. However, his eventual main roster run left fans wanting more.
While he did win the Intercontinental Championship, his career took a massive downturn after he lost the title to Gunther. He spent the next year chasing the United States and Intercontinental Championship only to end up on the losing side each time.

As a result, The One and Only star was supposedly unhappy with his booking and opted to leave WWE once his contract expired. Following this, he showed up at AEW, where he has already competed for the International Championship.

Soon after Ricochet left, his real-life fiance Samantha also left WWE last week, hours before RAW. She announced her decision to the world on social media. A fan responded to her announcement on social media saying that she chose a jobber instead of a career.
Samantha, not someone who is known for backing down, hit back at the fan saying that her fiance was correct. She also spelled Ricochet as "RICHochet" to indicate that he was making more money now.

Update on if Samantha Irvin will potentially join AEW
When Samantha Irvin announced her decision to leave WWE, many fans believed that she would join Ricochet in AEW. Some new details have come to light regarding the possibility of this.
Fightful Select recently reported that AEW hasn't answered whether Samantha would be brought in but several people within both AEW and WWE said they would be surprised if Tony Khan didn't try to sign her.
It will be interesting to see if Samantha would also join All Elite Wrestling to be with Ricochet again.
