Sammy Guevara reacts after his wife, Tay Melo, breaks down in emotional video

Tay Melo recently broke down in an emotional video. Her husband, Sammy Guevara, has now reacted to this video.

Tay was one of the rising stars in AEW's Women's Division in 2022. During this time, she also started dating fellow wrestler Sammy Guevara. The couple tied the knot in August 2022.

Tay Melo's wrestling career was put on hold after she and Sammy announced in May 2023 that they were expecting their first child. Her last match took place on March 11, 2023, at NEW Wrestlefest XXVII. Following this, Tay went on maternity leave. The couple was blessed with a daughter in November 2023. While The Spanish God has been active and even won the ROH World Tag Team Championship this past August, Tay has been at home taking care of their daughter.

Earlier today, the Brazilian professional wrestler announced on her X account that she would return to the ring on January 3 for STARDOM's New Year Dream 2025 event. Melo will team up with Mina Shirakawa for a tag team match against Athena and Thekla. The AEW star was overcome with emotion as she made the announcement.

Being the supportive husband that he is, Sammy Guevara also responded to his wife's announcement with enthusiasm.

"TAY IS BACK!!! [sic] JANUARY 3RD!! IN JAPAN!!" he wrote.

Sammy Guevara posted a special message for his daughter on her birthday

Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo's daughter, Luna, was born on November 28, 2023. Last month, she celebrated her first birthday.

The Spanish God took to X to post an emotional message, showcasing his love for his daughter.

"And just like that... she is one!!! [[sic] Luna, my little baby L, my pão de queijo, my everything. I want you to know that you are the best thing that ever happened in our life; you truly made everything better; there's not one day that goes by without me thanking God for your life. Your parents love you, Luna; we will forever be here for EVERYTHING. You are the most smart, beautiful, strong and amazing kid I ever saw. Happy birthday my daughter; I promise you I'll do everything to give you the most amazing life with a lot of love! Let's celebrate," he wrote.
