The Samoan Submission Machine, along with the former FTW Champion, laid out Nese and Daivari in their locker room on Collision last week. This took place days after the two men had confronted and insulted Joe and HOOK during a backstage interview on Dynamite.
The Premier Athletes intended to retaliate against Samoa Joe and HOOK in a tag team bout on the latest edition of Dynamite, but the heel duo were instead blindsided by the former AEW World Champion and The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil on the ramp during their entrance, with Katsuyori Shibata filming the proceedings.

The former WWE cruiserweight competitors tried to mount a comeback with the help of their manager, Mark Sterling. However, Shibata incapacitated Sterling, and shortly afterward, both Joe and HOOK locked in dual submission maneuvers to pick up the win. Shibata was seen putting Sterling to sleep outside the ring as well.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for this new alliance between Samoa Joe, HOOK, and Katsuyori Shibata in AEW.
