Kenny Omega has finally returned to in-ring action. After more than one year on the shelf, the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion made his viral comeback today at Wrestle Dynasty in Tokyo, Japan. Tony Khan and the rest of the wrestling world have reacted to Omega's return, and now we're seeing just how bloody and battered the veteran grappler was after his match.

The Cleaner conquered the NJPW Strong Openweight Champion in the bloody thirty-two-minute non-title co-main event of Wrestle Dynasty. Omega and Gabe Kidd spent the past few weeks trading shots, and then AEW's first-ever Triple Crown Champion caused a stir by announcing his ring return for NJPW, and not AEW.

Omega and Kidd were both bleeding heavily during the match, which went all over the ringside area. Omega still had the dried blood on his face and hands when he appeared at the post-show press conference, and while hanging around at the Tokyo Dome. Gabe Kidd called Kenny Omega out last year after sending savage insults to various top WWE Superstars. It will be interesting to see if the controversial NJPW star makes his All Elite singles debut this year.

Kenny Omega returning to AEW Dynamite

Kenny Omega has returned to the ring and now he's headed back to AEW Dynamite. The Cleaner has been out of action since December 2023 with significant health issues, and now he is set to make his return to an AEW ring in the near future.

The Best Bout Machine has been confirmed for Wednesday's live Dynamite in Clarksville, Tennessee. It remains to be seen what AEW has planned for the EVP. Currently, Omega is being advertised for a promo.

Kenny Omega last appeared on Dynamite this past spring to confront his former stablemates in The Elite, but he was attacked. His last AEW match was a win over Ethan Page on the December 9, 2023 edition of Collision.
