Former WWE United States Champion Andrade recently responded to a former AEW name on social media, and he also mentioned that he could see him soon. This would be his former manager, José the Assistant.

Jose was known as the manager of La Faccion Ingobernable, the luchador faction of the Tony Khan-led promotion. Unfortunately, he was released from the company earlier this year and has since been a free agent. The faction is still active with new members joining, and Jake "The Snake" Roberts is now managing the group.

On X/Twitter, José the Assistant greeted Andrade with a happy birthday as he thanked him for all he had done for him. The luchador responded and mentioned how he was excited to see him soon. It remains to be seen whether this could just be a hint at a personal meetup or possibly in a professional capacity.

The former AEW manager was spotted with Andrade in WWE a few months ago

Back in August, José the Assistant was backstage for one of WWE's shows and was even spotted arriving with Andrade ahead of the show.

Fightful Select reported that the former AEW name was in Orlando and that he was backstage for an episode of SmackDown at the time. There was no indication of his reasons for being there, but just that he was there with the former NXT Champion.

Jose has often stated on social media how he was ready for his new big role with a new company and that he was very capable as a manager. There has yet to be any new information regarding his future and whether he has had any serious talks with any promotion.

He has been linked to several names already, including a potential reunion with El Idolo. It remains to be seen whether WWE will pull the trigger and decide to reunite the duo.
