Seth Rollins drops huge AEW confession on WWE RAW

Seth Rollins did the unthinkable and dropped a huge AEW confession on WWE RAW. However, given his heated rivalry with CM Punk, this should not be a surprise.

Punk spent two years in AEW, from 2021 to 2023. His stay was mixed, with injuries and controversies, one of which finally led to his unceremonious firing by Tony Khan in September 2023.

He returned to WWE at Survivor Series last year and has been a hit ever since. However, one star who was not thrilled with his return is Seth Rollins. While cutting a promo on the WWE RAW this week, the former Shield member referenced Punk’s time in AEW.

“And then you took a big chunk of change, to go join the competition, how’d that work out for ya?” he said.

Seth seemingly confessed that AEW is indeed WWE's competition, despite the latter never really acknowledging All Elite Wrestling as a legitimate rival. The crowd gasped, and a shocked CM Punk looked on in anger. The rivalry between the two stars is boiling, and it will come to a head sooner rather than later.

It will be interesting to see how CM Punk responds to Rollins's barb in the new year.
