A former AEW Women's World Champion recently announced that she is injured. The talent being discussed is Riho. Meanwhile, fans on X/Twitter have reacted to the unfortunate situation.
The inaugural AEW Women's World Champion was away from the ring for some time due to an injury. She returned to the squared circle on the June 29, 2024, edition of Collision, where she confronted Serena Deeb.
On last week's episode of Collision, she locked horns with Lady Frost, which was her first match since March 2024. While the Japanese sensation reigned supreme, she sustained an injury during the bout. On her official Instagram account, Riho informed her fans that she had fractured her arm. The 27-year-old also posted a picture of herself wearing a sling.
"I just fractured my arm but I’m doing very well," Riho wrote.
Fans on X/Twitter quickly reacted to Riho's injury update. Many were upset that the former AEW Women's World Champion got hurt so soon after her comeback.
"Man she's had extremely bad luck with injuries," a fan wrote.
"Didn't she return yesterday?" another fan tweeted.
"Dang she just showed back up," a user posted.
Some viewers also wished her a speedy recovery and highlighted how it was a 'frustrating' situation for the star.
"Absolutely brutal and gut-wrenching for Riho. I wish her the best in recovery," a user wrote.
