A top wrestling name is currently a free agent and fans want Tony Khan to sign her right away. The talent in question is Megan Bayne.
Megasus has worked for Ohio Valley Wrestling and is a former OVW Women's Champion. She has also competed in independent circuits. She joined World Wonder Ring Stardom Japan in 2023 and recently left the promotion. Bayne has returned to the United States after her stint in Japan.
According to reports from FightFul Select, the top free agent in the market is in talks with AEW. After learning this news, fans are urging Tony Khan to add her to the All Elite Wrestling roster.
You can check out some of the fan reactions below, urging Khan to sign up the free agent:
"@AEW get this woman on tv asap," said a fan.
"She should definitely sign with AEW, it’s her best bet," another fan tweeted.
Some fans even warned Bayne not to join AEW if she wanted to have a successful career in pro wrestling, and their reactions can be seen below:
"Where’s Kamille? If Megan is smart she’s NXT bound asap," wrote an X user.
"I think she should ask Kamielle how that’s working out," commented another X user.
Tony Khan recently made some comments during a media scrum, where he addressed Megan Bayne and the improved relations with the Japanese promotion. This led to surprising rumors that she had already joined the Jacksonville-based promotion. However, that does not appear to be the case.
Megan Bayne is not a part of Tony Khan's roster yet
Speaking on the ROH Supercard of Honor media scrum recently Tony Khan had hinted that Megan Bayne was already part of his roster.
"There’s been a wrestler from AEW, Megan Bayne, who had a great run in Stardom. I thought it was a great excursion, but there has probably not been as much communication as I would have liked. I’d say there’s been more communication just in a couple of weeks than there had been in several years. It speaks to the great management at STARDOM now," said Khan.
However, according to the latest reports, the female star is yet to become part of All Elite Wrestling. Chances are that she could be joining Khan's roster pretty soon but as of now she remains a free agent.
