AEW star Adam Cole recently addressed a female star who recently returned. The name is the erstwhile Timeless One, Toni Storm who has switched up her character in All Elite Wrestling.
A couple of weeks ago in AEW, Toni Storm returned to the promotion with a new amnesia gimmick where she was acting like a new talent. The gimmick has received a lot of praise from fans and names in wrestling. However, Adam Cole has a different view of the former Women's World Champion.
During a recent interview on Going Ringside, Adam Cole was clueless about the situation of Toni Storm. The former NXT Champion hopes that Storm figures out her problems as she is a talented star.
“I don’t know what’s going on with Toni Storm. Clearly, she went through a very traumatic thing, so maybe she’s trying to process all of that. Yeah, I don’t know, I hope Toni Storm figures out what is going on with Toni Storm soon because she’s very talented.” [H/T:Fightful]

Konnan is not a fan of Toni Storm's new gimmick in AEW
The 'Timeless' Toni Storm character was one of the most well-received gimmicks of All Elite Wrestling. However, after suffering some setbacks following her loss to Mariah May at All In, Toni Storm announced her retirement in kayfabe. She recently returned to All Elite Wrestling with a new gimmick but wrestling veteran Konnan has a problem with the character.
In a recent edition of the Keepin' It 100 podcast, Konnan questioned why Toni Storm didn't return in her 'Timeless' persona as it was an interesting character. He further shared his dislike of Toni Storm's new persona.
"They've been subpar at that (in developing Toni Storm's story). For example, I don't know if it was Collision I was watching and Toni Storm came back as this giddy stupid chick that was like, 'Oh I can't believe I'm in AEW'. There's Mark Briscoe, and she's just geeking out over him... She was one of the most interesting characters and she showed dimension. And she wasn't just one-dimensional. That was working out pretty good. Why didn't she stay with that? I don't like this thing," said Konnan. [From 1:54 to 2:55]
We will have to wait and see if Toni Storm reclaims her AEW Women's World Championship against Mariah May.
