This week's episode of AEW Dynamite aired a brawl that nearly led to a top star being thrown off a balcony. Former WWE Hardcore Champion and current All Elite announcer Taz has now shared his opinion on the aforementioned segment.
Christian Cage cut a promo from a skybox in the arena from where Dynamite: Winter is Coming emanated, once again declaring his goal of becoming the next AEW World Champion. Unfortunately for him, The Patriarch was attacked by HOOK on the balcony, seeking revenge on Christian for injuring his hand last week.
At one point during their brawl, The Cold Hearted Handsome Devil tried to toss Cage over a balcony in the T-Mobile Center, but fortunately, The Instant Classic managed to escape the attempt. HOOK continued to decimate Cage until his "sons" Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian arrived to make the save, even though the 25-year-old star managed to fend them off.

HOOK's fight with Christian Cage on this week's AEW Dynamite elicited a response from Taz. The former WWE Hardcore Champion took to X/Twitter to voice his liking for the segment.
"I really enjoyed this. #HOK @730hook," wrote Taz.
Christian Cage cut a shocking promo on the reigning AEW World Champion
In his promo on Dynamite: Winter is Coming, Christian Cage expressed his ire towards multiple top names from All Elite Wrestling, including Jay White, Hangman Page, and Orange Cassidy - all three of whom will try to dethrone Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship at Worlds End 2024.
However, the 51-year-old legend then aimed Moxley specifically, warning The One True King that he could execute his contracted World Title shot on him even if he retained his belt at the pay-per-view. Cage even went so far as to bring up Moxley's past alcohol addiction issues.
"But my biggest problem is with you, Jon Moxley because you have what I want. And if you happen to make it out of that match as the champion, just know that I very well could be waiting on the other side, and if I am, this time, I'm not gonna miss. I will send you back to rock bottom. You'll hear that little voice in your head saying, 'It's okay, Jon, do it, you earned it, have that drink.' I will send you back to rehab while I'm forced to rehab the World Heavyweight Championship."
It remains to be seen whether Christian Cage will soon become AEW World Champion and whether HOOK will be around to foil his efforts.
