AEW has officially confirmed the shocking departure of 3-time WWE World Champion Jeff Hardy. The Charismatic Enigma ended his two-year stint with All Elite Wrestling last week when he unexpectedly showed up at the TNA Wrestling Against All Odds event.
The 46-year-old stalwart's contract with the Jacksonville-based promotion expired after the two parties were unable to agree to a new contract. The WWE legend last wrestled Sammy Guevara on the February 14 episode of Rampage, which saw The Spanish God accidentally break his nose.
Following that, Jeff Hardy remained absent from any wrestling capacity until last week when he returned to TNA to help his brother, Matt Hardy, fend off Moose and The System.
Earlier today, AEW removed Jeff Hardy from its official roster page, confirming his exit. Rumor has it that the Hardy Boyz are still free agents and haven't put pen to paper on a deal with TNA.

According to the reports, AEW has left the door open for the brothers to return to the Jacksonville-based promotion in the future. Jeff Hardy spent most of his time in All Elite Wrestling on the shelf due to suspension and injuries.
With TNA talents working with WWE lately, it will be interesting to see whether The Hardys return to their old stomping grounds after seemingly leaving on bad terms.
