"Hangman" Adam Page and Swerve Strickland finally got their hands on one another at the AEW All Out 2024 Pay-Per-View in what was the fourth installment of their feud. This time, it was in an Unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage Match.
The first three times the duo competed against each other, it was in different match types, including a Texas Death Match at Full Gear last year. Swerve has won two out of the three matches, with the third ending in a time-limit draw.
These two stars want to tear each other apart, as they have gone out of their way to dish out pain to one another. A few days ago on Dynamite, "Hangman" Adam Page invaded Swerve's childhood home before proceeding to burn it to the ground.
After a series of brutal spots, Hangman took advantage of the situation, and towards the end of the match, it seemed as if he had Swerve beat already.
With the former AEW World Champion incapacitated, Page went as far as to get a hypodermic needle, and proceeded to stab the inside of Swerve's cheek with it. After this, Adam grabbed a steel chair and smashed it on the 33-year-old star's head. This forced the referee to call off the match due to a complete knockout.
"Hangman" Adam Page has now gotten retribution against his long-time rival and this may finally be the end to this long-standing feud.
