A shocking title change took place before AEW WrestleDream 2024, and this was something that the fans did not expect. This set the tone for what should be a great show.

Brian Cage easily dispatched Ring of Honor World Television Champion Atlantis Junior in a hard-hitting bout that went on for the better part of ten minutes. This was the match that kicked off the Zero Hour pre-show.

The match started well, and Atlantis Junior did more than what was asked of him as he kept the big man at arm's length. The two men traded punches and kicks in what was slowly turning out to be a high-octane match.

There was near-fall after near-fall, and it looked like the two men were not going to give this fight up that easily. Atlantis Junior countered a move from the AEW star and got a two-count. However, Brian Cage quickly hit back at the Ring of Honor man with what looked like a Drill Claw to end the match.

That means that Brian Cage has become the new Ring of Honor World Television Champion, and AEW WrestleDream kicked off with a title change in what promises to be a huge night for the promotion.
