AEW star Rey Fenix has recently been a hot topic in the pro wrestling community owing to his alleged dissatisfaction with the company. A veteran recently commented on the matter, sharing his honest opinion.

Fenix recently shared some now-deleted tweets where he claimed that he had been treated inhumanely in AEW. This sparked a major discussion in the community, with fans and critics questioning what exactly had happened. Bill Apter thinks that this topic should not have been discussed on social media.

On Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws, hosted by Mac Davis, Bill Apter said the following about social media's impact on modern-day pro wrestling while discussing Fenix's situation.

"Social media, although it's good in a way in our business, it has changed the wrestling business to the point where too many people know too many things. They have taken the fantasy out of it, for the people who want to believe, number one. And another thing is a lot of wrestlers use it just to b*tch and moan about things that are going on backstage that should stay backstage." [3:15 onwards]

A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.

Teddy Long also shared his thoughts on the AEW controversy

WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long apparently also has similar views on the topic. He also spoke about the Rey Fenix situation in AEW.

On Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, hosted by Mac Davis, Teddy Long talked about how certain backstage issues in promotion shouldn't be brought up on social media.

"I mean, there's some things, you know, you might have to talk about because some things, sometimes, people can just go too far. And when that happens to you, sometimes, you might have to talk about that because some people just take advantage of you. There are a lot of evil people in this business. Some things I think they can talk about, but the majority of like what's in-house, keep it in-house. Keep it in the back of your mind. Don't ever forget it." [3:45 onwards]

As of now, it remains to be seen what lies ahead for Rey Fenix in the pro wrestling business.
