The musician who sang Toni Storm's original AEW theme song has unfortunately passed away. The artist in question is Suzie Monk Johnson, also known as Suzie MoJo.

Johnson was a singer and song-writer for Dreamhouse FX, a country-rock crossover musical duo, as well as a member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International. All Elite Wrestling fans are familiar with her work as she performed the first entrance music used by Toni Storm in AEW, titled Watch What's Next. Although The Timeless One changed her theme music along with her gimmick in 2023, the song is currently used by her protege, Mariah May.

On May 29, 2024, AEW music producer Mikey Rukus took to X/Twitter to announce the tragic passing of Suzie MoJo. Describing her as a "humble and kind" person, Rukus conveyed his condolences to Johnson's surviving family members, her husband and two daughters.

"I am saddened to learn that Susie Monk Johnson (aka Suzie Mojo), singer on Toni Storm's Theme "Watch What's Next", has passed away. Humble & kind, she was a local musician from my area. She leaves behind a husband & 2 daughters. My heartfelt condolences," tweeted Rukus.

Toni Storm retained her Women's World Title at AEW Double or Nothing 2024

Toni Storm defended her AEW Women's World Championship at Double or Nothing 2024 against Serena Deeb. Their feud escalated in the weeks leading up to the pay-per-view, especially after Storm shocked fans by appearing to undress on the entrance stage before wrapping a Deeb's Dojo flag around her body, in an act of blatant disrespect to her challenger.

The Professor retaliated by preventing The Illustrious One from repeating the act on the go-home edition of Dynamite prior to Double or Nothing, laying out both Luther and Mariah May with a steel chair before headbutting Storm and forcing her to tap out to a single leg crab under the chair.

The two women faced off in a back-and-forth contest in the MGM Grand Garden Arena, during which Deeb focused her attack on Storm's knee. However, an Avalanche Piledriver and a final Storm Zero secured the pin and the win for the reigning All Elite Wrestling Women's World Champion.

Fans are excited to find out who will be the next contender to step up to Toni Storm in All Elite Wrestling.
