WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long does not want Sting to come out of retirement. The Icon retired from professional wrestling earlier this year.

Sting's last stand was at the AEW Revolution Pay-Per-View, where he and Darby Allin retained their AEW World Tag Team Championship against The Young Bucks. The WWE veteran's last appearance for the promotion was at All In. The Stinger recently revealed that he has inked a new multi-year deal with Tony Khan's promotion.

On the recent episode of Sportskeeda's exclusive The Wrestling Outlaws podcast hosted by Mac Davis, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long reflected on Sting's new deal with All Elite Wrestling. The veteran said that Sting needs to take the deal and keep contributing to the promotion outside of the wrestling ring.

"Sting needs to just take that deal and make these appearances and keep doing what he's doing and stay out of the ring man. Enjoy the rest of your life." [2:20 - 2:32]

WWE veteran Tommy Dreamer says Sting can return to confront Jon Moxley in AEW

Ever since Jon Moxley and The Blackpool Combat Club turned heel, they have been targeting the All Elite locker room and taking no prisoners. WWE veteran Tommy Dreamer recently revealed some names who could stand up to the current AEW World Champion.

Speaking on the Busted Open podcast, Tommy Dreamer said that Eddie Kingston and Sting could show up to confront Moxley and The Blackpool Combat Club. Dreamer noted that Sting has experience in fighting off factions like NWO, Four Horsemen, and more.

"Eddie Kingston is great, if he's able to go. I mean, also, Sting. Sting can show back up, not be a wrestler, rally the troops... Sting was part of two waves, he was part of fighting off The Horsemen, he was part of fighting off The NWO, he was a main part of that, he could be like, 'Guys, I've lived here before.'"

We will have to wait and see if The Vigilante shows up in All Elite Wrestling to confront The BCC in the near future.
