Sting gives a reality check to Adam Copeland (Edge) during AEW Dynamite

Sting had some choice words for Adam Copeland (fka Edge) during the latest episode of AEW Dynamite.

The Icon was having a special night as Tony Khan managed to bring out his long-time rival and friend Ric Flair as a special gift to the veteran.

That was quickly spoiled as Christian Cage came out and started to verbally attack both Sting and Flair and challenged the latter to a six-man tag team match at AEW Full Gear.

After the segment, the cameras panned backstage, where Renee Paquette was interviewing Christian’s best friend Adam Copeland. Darby Allin showed up and told him what went on and said that while he understands his wish to ride off into the sunset with Cage, he should also be realistic, given the current situation.

That was seemingly to get Edge to be their tag team partner for Full Gear, but it appeared as though he was hesitant. The masked enigma then stepped in and knocked some sense into Copeland and said that he couldn’t believe that they were having this conversation.

He then proceeded to put his hands on Copeland in an effort to wake him up as the cameras zoomed in on his flustered face. It will be interesting what transpires next between Copeland and Christian.
