AEW veteran Sting disclosed a new update regarding his relationship with the Tony Khan-based promotion. He had a great run with the company from 2020 to 2024. He made his last AEW appearance at All In earlier this year.
The Icon shocked the world when he made his AEW debut in 2020. He was aligned with Darby Allin for most of his stint. The duo was involved in stellar tag team performances and gave fans several memorable moments. Despite being a veteran, he didn't hesitate to put his body on the line during bouts.
Sting wrestled his last match at Revolution 2024 where they defended their AEW World Tag Team Championship against The Young Bucks. The entire event was built upon as his farewell show. After an incredible final contest, he and Darby retained the tag titles and later vacated them. He retired undefeated from All Elite Wrestling.
While speaking with Kayfabe Friends, the Vigilante revealed that he has signed a legends deal with AEW and was still a part of the promotion.

“I signed a multi-year deal with AEW, obviously not to wrestle anymore, but it’s like a licensing deal, a legends deal if you want to call it that. So I’ll do appearances with them on and off, depending on what they want and all. I’ve done real estate, I did real estate before I ever was a pro wrestler, so I’ve always loved real estate," he said. [H/T - Fightful]
