A lawsuit against former WWE and AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson was recently dismissed. The plaintiff cited "emotional stress" in his lawsuit against The American Dragon.

Besides his in-ring role, Bryan Danielson also holds a backstage position in All Elite Wrestling. Tony Khan has often hailed Danielson as a trustworthy figure in the promotion. After his full-time in-ring retirement, The American Dragon found himself in the middle of a lawsuit filed against him and the Jacksonville-based organization.

A person named Leland Owens, who has filed a lawsuit against WWE in the past, recently filed one against AEW and Bryan Danielson. According to PWInsider, Leland accused the abovementioned parties of "intellectual property infringement" and "theft" of ideas in his lawsuit, which was filed on December 13, 2024.

Leland Owens claimed that he shared some ideas with Danielson, including the "Shockwave" name that AEW later filed to trademark for a potential show. Owens also stated in his lawsuit that he suffered "emotional stress" due to Danielson and the Tony Khan-led promotion, seeking compensation or rights to his ideas.

The lawsuit was recently dismissed without prejudice as the court stated that Leland Owens failed "to allege any federal jurisdiction." Owens could still refile the case after the verdict.

Bryan Danielson on his status for AEW All In 2025

AEW All In 2025 is set to take place in Texas. During a recent press conference to promote the event, Bryan Danielson announced that he would be present on the show. However, he was still not sure whether he would compete at the pay-per-view after his retirement from full-time in-ring competition.

"As for my participation at All In this year, I don't know what that looks like. I don't know if I'll be able to wrestle at that point. I don't know if I'll be able to wrestle again, quite honestly. But there's one thing I can tell you for certain, I will be here. There's nothing you can do to make me miss All In at Globe Life Field," Danielson said.

Fans will have to wait and see when The American Dragon will make his in-ring return. Many hope to witness him in action at All In 2025.
