Former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland has finally broken his silence after being stabbed by Ricochet on live TV. The shocking moment took place on Wednesday's Dynamite.
On AEW Dynamite, Swerve Strickland was one of the competitors in the three-way match for a spot in the Casino Gauntlet next week along with Jay White and Roderick Strong. The three-way showdown was going well until Ricochet showed up and attacked Strickland's face with a pair of scissors, costing him a potential win.
Prince Nana tried to make the save but was assaulted with a steel chair. The segment ended with The Future of Flight sitting on a chair in the ring with The Realest's blood on his face and shirt. He was staring at a helpless Strickland before Undisputed Kingdom came to his rescue.

Wrestling veteran doesn't see Ricochet in AEW's main event scene
Hall of Fame journalist and Sportskeeda Wrestling's own, Bill Apter, recently discussed why it might be hard for Ricochet to become a main event star.
On Backstage Pass' Q&A, Apter said fans would not buy the former Speed Champion as a main event act after he was relegated to the mid-card in WWE for years.
"I think it's too far gone to make him an upper level. I just don't think the fans are going to buy it. I do like, you know, they just got the whole heel persona and maybe, he's a member of MVP's gang [The Hurt Syndicate] there at this point, you know, since he keeps showing off the business card, but I just don't see him up in the main event."
Ricochet's new heel character could allow him to scale new heights in AEW. Only time will what's next in his feud against Strickland.
