The New Flavor was interviewed backstage on the November 27, 2024, edition of Dynamite, where he was asked about his shocking loss to Bobby Lashley at Full Gear this weekend. Strickland vowed to jump back on track and rebuild, albeit conceding the toughness of The All Mighty as an opponent.
However, Swerve was distracted by Max Caster, who seemingly laughed at the former AEW World Champion as he was passing by. Upon being confronted by Strickland, the self-proclaimed Best Wrestler Alive taunted the Washington native for losing to Lashley and invoked their past rivalry, reminding him of the time The Acclaimed defeated Swerve In Our Glory to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship at Full Gear 2022 in the Prudential Center.

Caster then proceeded to allude to Hangman Page burning Strickland's childhood home down earlier this year, at which point Swerve snapped, viciously beating up Platinum Max and leaving him laid out backstage.
