Just a day ahead of AEW All Out 2024, Swerve Strickland made a surprising albeit insightful observation on social media. The post in question relates to his upcoming war with Hangman Adam Page.
Since 2023, Swerve Strickland and Adam Page have been locked in what is being called one of AEW's most compelling rivalries of all time. The deeply personal feud led to a Steel Cage match being scheduled between the two men at All Out 2024. However, the bout was modified into an Unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage Match after The Hangman burned down Swerve's childhood home on live television this week on Dynamite.
Both Page and Strickland have performed numerous acts of brutality against each other over the past year, which has led fans in the wrestling space to point out how the feud has blurred traditional heel-face dynamics that are typical in pro wrestling.
With just around a day left before their Unsanctioned Cage Match All Out 2024, Swerve Strickland took to X/Twitter to send out a four-word message, sharing a photograph of himself and Hangman Page in the ring with a caption referencing both stars' morally questionable choices in the course of their rivalry.
"Neither are good men," wrote Strickland.

Swerve Strickland's response to alteration in his AEW All Out 2024 match
During their confrontation on AEW Dynamite after All In 2024, Swerve Strickland challenged Hangman Page to a Steel Cage Match at All Out. However, the former AEW World Champion also provoked the Virginia native by speaking about his family once again, prompting Page to wordlessly walk away.
The Cowboy exacted retribution on Dynamite this week, however, as he opted to set fire to Swerve's childhood home instead of appearing on the show for their contract signing, as a despairing Strickland watched on from the ring.
All Elite CEO Tony Khan soon announced that the steel cage match between Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland was now going to be an Unsanctioned Lights Out bout. The former Mogul Embassy leader responded to the announcement with an ominous message.
"Blood is on [sic] your hands now," Swerve wrote on X/Twitter.
It remains to be seen whether Page will finally score a win over Strickland at All Out 2024.
