Sammy Guevara finally made his return after several months of absence. Tay Melo, his wife, has broken her silence on the topic.
Sammy Guevara quickly rose to prominence in AEW due to his willingness to put his body on the line for the fans' enjoyment. He is often known to perform high-flying moves off of tall structures.
To add to this, he is also incredibly talented in the ring. However, he has come under scrutiny for being a bit reckless. A couple of years ago, he received backlash for throwing a steel chair at Matt Hardy's face thereby busting him open. Earlier this year, he received heat for diving onto Jeff Hardy's face breaking his nose. Instead of going for the finish, he hit his signature move and then pinned Jeff.
As a result of his actions, Guevara was suspended indefinitely and hasn't been seen on television since February of this year. Recently, Guevara shocked the world when he showed up at the ROH tapings and attacked John Silver and Alex Reynolds. Following his return, Sammy's wife Tay Melo posted a picture of the couple with their child with an appropriate caption:

Jose The Assistant feels Sammy Guevara can be a top player in AEW if he turns heel
While Sammy Guevara started his career as a heel, he has been a babyface for the past few years. While he has still been entertaining in the ring, he has seemed to lose some of the popularity he had when he was a feel.
Even Jose The Assistant took to social media to mention that Sammy could be a top guy in the company if he turned heel with his wife Tay Melo:
"I think @sammyguevara is a good promo if they allow him to speak, he doesn’t need a manager [in my opinion]. Incredible in-ring talent, very creative and if he had a heel run with @taymelo they can easily be top players in the company."

It will be interesting to see if Sammy Guevara will turn heel again to regain a bit of his prominence.
