After his recent comments, Taz called out an AEW name as unprofessional. The star being discussed is Tony Schiavone. Tony, the ECW star, and Excalibur have been together on the commentary desk for more than five years.

Mariah May has garnered a lot of heat since betraying "Timeless" Toni Storm on the 10 July episode of Dynamite. For months, fans enjoyed the teacher-prodigy connection between the duo. The Glamour finally won the Owen Hart Cup tournament after defeating Willow Nightingale and earned herself an opportunity to face Storm for the AEW Women's World Championship at All In.

After a brief celebration between Mariah and Toni, the former bashed her ally's head with the Owen Hart title. She also bloodied Storm with a shoe, cementing her as a heel. On the Dynamite 250 episode, Mariah May was slated to break the silence on her betrayal.

Fans booed and chanted when she entered the ring. Mariah later explained that Toni was blinded by the spotlight, and everybody except the Timeless star knew the betrayal was bound to happen.

While the fans booed her at the start of the segment, The Glamour waited in the ring for the fan chants to cool down. During this instance, a furious Tony Schiavone from the commentary desk yelled at her.

"Oh speak b***h come on now," Tony exclaimed. (1:26 - 1:28)

Following that comment, his fellow commentator Taz was offended and called Tony unprofessional.

"Oh my god Schiavone. What the hell is wrong with you? Unprofessional man," Taz said. (1:29 onwards)

AEW commentator Nigel McGuinness criticizes Tony Schiavone for his comments

Nigel McGuinness has been a mainstay of AEW Collision commentary since 2023. He has been fond of Mariah since her debut.

After Tony Schiavone made inappropriate comments about the Women's Owen Hart Cup winner, Nigel took to X/Twitter to comment on the situation.

"Overstepping the line...," he tweeted.

It will be interesting to see when Toni Storm will respond to her former prodigy.
