AEW star Taz has fired several explosive social media shots at TNA star Jordynne Grace. The wrestling world is watching and reacting as the wrestling legend publicly vents over a photo that the Knockouts World Champion shared.

The Juggernaut took to X this morning to share what looks to be a workout photo. She captioned the photo with a catchphrase made famous by The Human Suplex Machine - Beat me if you can, survive if I let you. Taz used the intimidating line while with the original ECW, and has been credited for the catchphrase in pop culture and the mainstream media over the years.

Taz responded to Grace's photo with a jab, and a hashtag to let her know the saying is trademarked. He also confirmed that the catchphrase is trademarked. USPTO (United States Patient & Trademark Office) records show that the filing was made on September 14, 2021, with a First Use and Use In Commerce date listed as September 1996. The use is for general pro wrestling and sports entertainment.

"Swing and a miss! #trademarked," Taz wrote in response to Grace's photo.

One fan pointed to how Grace didn't put the catchphrase on a t-shirt, all she did was make a tweet. The fan asked Taz if he didn't want people saying the line. The inaugural FTW Heavyweight Champion fired right back at the fan.

"There's a lot more to it than the way you see it... Just let me handle my business, but thank you for the question," Taz wrote.

Another fan said Grace was honoring Taz. He then accused the AEW commentator of being "butthurt," adding that he "fell off hard, old man." Taz did not see the original tweet as a sign of respect.

"Relax, champ… not sure about that. I kind of feel like If she was respecting my honor, she would’ve tagged me or acknowledged me. [man shrugging emoji]," Taz wrote.

Taz continued engaging with fans, including one who reiterated that Grace's post could have been an acknowledgment of his legendary career.

"Maybe. But maybe there’s a whole bunch of younger fans that have no idea who used to say that (and who branded it). I have to protect my I intellect property man. Is that simple," Taz wrote.

The 4-time WWE champion then wrote "lol" in response to a fan who speculated that Grace may have been afraid that Taz would have a reaction like the one he's having on X.

The father of AEW Original Hook began tweeting about other topics until one fan asked if he's really this petty. The 56-year-old disagreed with his comments being petty, noting that he sees his response as protective of what he built and owns. Grace has not publicly responded to Taz as of this writing.

Hook set for trios action at next AEW PPV

AEW and NJPW will present the third annual Forbidden Door PPV this coming Sunday. The big event will air live from UBS Arena in Long Island, NY.

After a brief feud earlier this year, Hook and Samoa Joe recently linked up with The Samoan Submission Machine serving as a mentor to the son of Taz. Joe and Hook began feuding with The Premier Athletes, and teamed with Katsuyori Shibata to defeat Tony Nese, Josh Woods, and Ariya Daivari on last Saturday's Collision.

Hook has battled Chris Jericho in recent months, which led to The Learning Tree winning the FTW Championship at AEW Dynasty in April. Now Hook, Joe, and Shibata will team up one more time at Forbidden Door to face Jericho, Big Bill, and Bryan Keith.

Saturday's trios win on Collision came one week after Joe and Hook defeated Daivari and Nese on Dynamite.
