AEW star Bobby Lashley is a part of The Hurt Syndicate in All Elite Wrestling. The All Mighty recently revealed that the group will add one more star in the future.
The Hurt Syndicate was formed in AEW a couple of months ago by MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley. They have had a heated rivalry with Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana since their arrival. Shelton Benjamin also had a great showing in the Continental Classic tournament.
In a recent interview with Fightful, Bobby Lashley noted how they extended invitations and handed cards to AEW talent to join the faction when they first arrived at the promotion. The All Mighty revealed that they had started to pull back and would now let the talent fight for that one vacant spot in the group.
"We are taking applications now. I said we were gonna put something on Indeed because a lot of people want to join. When we first came to AEW, we kinda extended an invitation out to a couple guys and they just didn't understand the magnitude of that invitation... At this point, we're gonna pull it back. We're gonna let people start fighting for it and find that last because we're looking for that one person. So we're gonna let everybody fight for it and when we find that right person, that person is gonna have his ticket to stardom." [0:15 - 1:10]
The Hurt Syndicate had four members in WWE
The Hurt Syndicate was known as The Hurt Business in WWE. The faction had a dominant run and later added Cedric Alexander as their fourth member. They held all the gold as Bobby Lashley captured the WWE Title, while Cedric and Shelton won the RAW Tag Team Championships.
After a short reign as a dominant group, The Hurt Business was disbanded as the promotion shifted their focus on making Bobby Lashley a top singles star. Many angles were teased about a potential reunion of the faction in WWE but things never reached the next level.
We will have to wait and see when Tony Khan decides to make The Hurt Syndicate champions in All Elite Wrestling.
