An Elite member called out a former WWE Superstar ahead of their match on Dynamite this week. The star being discussed is Swerve Strickland and he will face Kazuchika Okada on Dynamite 250.
The Realest star has been the reigning AEW World Champion for 82 days now. He recently defeated Will Ospreay in a stellar match at the Forbidden Door Pay-Per-View.
The Elite have been causing havoc in AEW as they have been imposing authoritative commands using the as The Young Bucks' position as EVPs of the promotion. Every member of the faction holds gold now after Jack Perry won the TNT Championship at Forbidden Door. In order to prove their superiority, the faction laid out a challenge to the best five of the rest of the AEW roster to face them at Blood and Guts.

The Rainmaker made his debut at Jacksonville-based promotion in March and won the Continental Championship within a week. He is slated to face Swerve Strickland at episode no. 250 of Dynamite this Wednesday in a 'Champion vs. Champion' bout after the latter announced himself as the leader of the Blood and Guts event from the AEW team.
Okada recently to Twitter and took a shot at Swerve ahead of their clash this Wednesday.

"Hangman" Adam Page has joined The Elite as the fifth member
While The Elite announced them for Blood and Guts, the faction lacked a fifth member to complete the team. Previously, they had approached The Anxious Millenial Cowboy, but he refused to align with them.
After Hangman failed to capture the Owens Hart Cup against Bryan Danielson, he decided to approach The Young Bucks and has now officially been announced as the fifth member of the team.
It will be interesting to see who are the remaining members of Team AEW as only Mark Briscoe and Swerve Strickland have so far announced themselves on the team.
