Earlier tonight on AEW Dynamite, The Elite greeted Kenny Omega as today was his birthday. They did so in a unique way before seemingly firing shots at him amidst his hiatus.

Back in March, Omega was 'fired' from the faction, and he was replaced by Kazuchika Okada. When the former AEW World Champion returned to the promotion in May, the faction came out to launch an attack on him. It is safe to say there is no shortage of bad blood between both parties.
Tonight on Dynamite, The Elite were given a chance to speak before their match. They greeted Kenny Omega with a birthday wish, given that he was one of the pioneers of All Elite Wrestling.

They even brought out a chocolate cake with a greeting for him on it. Jack Perry then shockingly poured over some animal organs on top of it, seemingly firing shots at Omega's having Diverticulitis as his current condition affected his internal organs.
There is no clear timeline as of now when The Best Bout Machine could make his return. But recently, it was revealed that he could be a few months away from making his in-ring return. One of his first courses of action could be going after The Elite.

Enzo is a Pro Wrestling journalist at Sportskeeda, reporting on AEW. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Studies, which influenced his decision of taking up sports writing professionally, and has been an avid fan of the athletic theater since childhood. He believes readers deserve authentic and unique content and aims to report in a manner which pro wrestling fans can easily relate to.
Growing up, Enzo admired former world champions like AJ Styles, Will Ospreay, Bryan Danielson, Triple H, and Randy Orton for their finishing moves. As an adult, he started to appreciate their character work, as they juggled between heel and babyface gimmicks.
If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
Other than pro wrestling, Enzo enjoys keeping up with Basketball, Football, and Formula One. He also loves watching films, playing video games, and listening to music.
