A former WWE star's potential AEW debut was teased on this week's Collision. Fans on X/Twitter did not waste their time and began speculating who it might be.

The former WWE star being discussed is none other than Ricochet. He left WWE after his contract expired last month, and he is widely expected to join AEW soon. However, fans seemingly did not have an idea about how that would happen until now.

A video package aired on Collision, briefly teasing a star's arrival. In the vignette, a man was seen running into a time warp, and then a masked wrestler showed up. While AEW didn't confirm the performer's identity, many believe it was Ricochet.

Most fans speculated that the mysterious figure in the vignette was Prince Puma, a popular masked character portrayed by Ricochet in Lucha Underground. One X/Twitter user mentioned that it could be Mike Bailey.

Former WWE star Dijak reveals his recent conversation with Ricochet

Dijak's WWE contract expired recently, and he later attended an AEW event. The former RAW Superstar has now opened up about the chat he had with Ricochet.

The 37-year-old is seemingly open to joining All Elite Wrestling. However, there is no confirmation on whether he will ink a deal with the Tony Khan-led company. In an interview with Forbes, Dijak said the following about his conversation with The Human Highlight Reel:

"I was talking in the AEW backstage area with so many people that I haven't seen for such a long time, and I was telling anecdotes about how difficult it is, knowing that was the last time me and Ricochet were in the locker room together. And it was funny, we had a conversation. I thanked him for everything. I said goodbye to him and I said, ‘Hey man, I'll see you either in two weeks or five years.'"

It may just be a matter of time before fans see Ricochet show up in AEW. Will he target a top name upon his potential debut? Only time will tell.
