The Undertaker was considered the locker room leader for several years in WWE and a lot of the talent looked up to him. A top AEW star recently shared some valuable advice he received from The Deadman.
Bobby Lashley has been touted as the future of the business from the time he made his debut in WWE. He had the look and the incredible physique to go with his amateur wrestling background. This presented him as a legitimate threat in the ring. In his initial years with the company, he was involved in an entertaining storyline with Vince McMahon and Donald Trump. He even won the ECW Championship. However, he could never win the WWE Championship until his second run with the company.
During his first run, Lashley got to share the locker room with several legends in the business like John Cena, The Undertaker, Batista, and many more. During a recent appearance on the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast, The All Mighty recalled some valuable advice that The Deadman gave him. He said that 'Taker asked him to stand up more to showcase his true size.
"When 'Taker came in, 'Taker was watching me when I was first starting out as this big kid with a lot of energy, the crowd was behind me," he recalled. "And 'Taker was like, 'You keep going down to this wrestling stance' — 'cause I kept going into [amateur] wrestling mode." [H/T WrestlingInc.]
