The Undertaker took a massive dig at Tony Khan recently. He questioned whether the AEW boss was the right person to run the company.

Ever since AEW's inception, Khan has been wearing many hats. He has handled talent bookings and recruitment among several other responsibilities. Over the years, All Elite Wrestling has found itself in the headlines more so for the wrong reasons. This is due to the number of backstage issues that have plagued the company over the years. Issues such as the backstage brawl between Jack Perry and CM Punk have only shined a negative light on the promotion.

To add to these woes, AEW has seen a massive drop in viewership from its initial days. All this has brought a lot of criticism upon Tony Khan for the way he has managed things. Speaking on his Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker took a dig at Tony Khan by saying that the Jacksonville-based promotion's boss may not be the right guy to run the company.

"I agree with you. I don't think there is a real true leader in the locker room. And I don't, I am not sure... I have nothing against the man you know but I don't know that Tony is the guy to run the company. I mean his heart's in a good place and he wants to do something but I just don't know that he has the acumen to run a wrestling company against the juggernaut that is the WWE," said The Undertaker.

However, the Undertaker said he could be mistaken as he had been proved wrong in the past. He wished that Tony Khan and the promotion got its act together which would be great in terms of the competition in the pro wrestling industry, as well as for the fans' enjoyment around the world.

"But hey, I could be wrong. There was that one other time I was wrong. But I hope they get it together and we do have some [competition]. It's better for the wrestlers, it's better for the audience, the fans. It's better for everything," he added. [H/T: SES Scoops]

Tony Khan reacts to WWE's partnership with TNA

WWE has seemingly forged a partnership with TNA Wrestling in recent months. This resulted in Jordynne Grace appearance for the Women's Royal Rumble Match earlier in January. Apart from this, Grace also recently competed at NXT Battleground for the NXT Women's Championship.

During a recent interview with TV Insider, Tony Khan was asked about WWE's partnership with TNA. The AEW boss spoke about the positive impact of cross-promotional partnerships.

"I’m always open to working with great wrestling promotions all over the world," said Tony Khan. "It feels like the spirit of cooperation in worldwide pro wrestling is greater than it has ever been, which is a big positive. Seeing the top stars of AEW go to Tokyo and compete at Wrestle Kingdom, I think that the fans can always count on AEW and New Japan to put on great collaborations. I think this year’s Forbidden Door will be one of the strongest shows any promotion will put anywhere in the world."

AEW has its own cross-promotional PPV with NJPW called Forbidden Door which is set to take place later this month.
