AEW Dynamite just recorded its lowest viewership of all time. This news left fans stunned.

When AEW first launched Dynamite back in 2019, it was pulling in a large number of viewers and was doing better than NXT in the Wednesday night ratings war. However, Dynamite has come a long way since then and has experienced a massive drop in viewership from its initial days.

The company has even hired many more top stars like Will Ospreay, Bryan Danielson, and Mercedes Mone over the years but this has not helped to boost viewership. The promotion is also struggling to fill up arenas for its live shows every week.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics recently reported that this week's episode of AEW Dynamite recorded its lowest viewership of 502,000 viewers with a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demographic. The show was even beaten by the College World Series on ESPN:

"Only 2 preemption episodes of AEW Dynamite have ever been lower than 502,000 viewers and a 0.16 rating. The show was on the Juneteenth holiday. Nonetheless college baseball World Series on ESPN (Texas A&M-Florida) managed a 0.42 P18-49 rating and 1,791,000 viewers in primetime."

Rush threatens MJF after losing to him on AEW Dynamite this week

Ever since MJF made his return to All Elite Wrestling, Rush has been vocal in voicing his displeasure. The two men even came face to face a couple of times with each encounter ending in a brawl.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman competed in his first match since his return this week on Dynamite when he faced Rush. Although Rush dominated most of the match, the Salt of the Earth picked up the win.

Following the match, MJF took to social to show some respect for his opponent. In return, Rush replied to him with a warning.

"I recognize not everyone can take a beating like the one I gave you. you earned my respect. BUT if we ever wrestle again “respect” will not stop me from f***ing k***ing you!!!"
