The Young Bucks have seemingly teased a “final” appearance amid their AEW absence and this is something that the fans might take note of. Both of them are executive vice presidents of the Jacksonville-based promotion.

Matthew and Nicholas Jackson have not been seen in the ring ever since they lost the World Tag Team Championship to Private Party a few months back. They have put out various messages over the last month explaining their absence.

The Young Bucks will take on Great-O-Khan and a partner of his choice for the vacant IWGP Tag Team Championship at Wrestle Dynasty on January 5 at the Tokyo Dome. The Bucks usually update their X (fka Twitter) bio to send out a message and they did just the same this time as well.

Teasing a final appearance, they wrote:

A former WWE writer just went after JBL for his comments HERE

"It's time to give our kids a moment they'll remember forever, watching us in person at Tokyo Dome for possibly the final time."

You can check out a screenshot of their X bio in the post below:

The Young Bucks almost retired their famous finisher

The Young Bucks are one of the most famous tag teams of recent times and rightly so. They have been involved in some great matches and are usually in the mix when it comes to staying relevant.

The duo are also known for their in-ring style and their famous Superkick. In a recent interview with Tunnel Talk, Matt Jackson revealed how he almost got Nick Jackson to retire the Superkick.

“I even wanted to lean more into the EVP stuff. Like, I told Nick, ‘I don’t want to do a Superkick ever again,’ and he fought me on that—and he won the fight. I was like, ‘When we come back, I never want to do one ever again,’ and he’s just like, ‘That’s our thing. Why would we stop doing it,'” he said.

With them teasing their final appearance at Wrestle Dynasty, maybe the time is near for them to finally retire their Superkick and fully take on their administrative roles.
