The AEW tag team division is packed with top talents. Matthew and Nicholas Jackson are currently leading the division, and they have just teased the potential split of a longtime All-Elite duo ahead of upcoming title defenses.
The Young Bucks are one week away from hitting the 200-day mark of their record-setting third reign as All Elite Wrestling's World Tag Team Champions. SoCal Uncensored defeated The Lucha Brothers to be crowned inaugural champions in a 2019 tournament, which interestingly opened with The Bucks losing to Private Party. Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky represented SCU during that reign, but the main duo moving forward, Kazarian and Christopher Daniels, were forced to split after failing to dethrone Matthew and Nicholas Jackson on May 12, 2021.
A similar situation could be brewing ahead of tonight's Fright Night edition of Dynamite. Private Party is set to challenge The Young Bucks for the titles, but Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy must split up if they lose.
The EVPs took to X/Twitter to taunt their opponents today by simply sharing a caption-less post-match photo of SCU embracing before their 2021 split. Private Party has not publicly responded to The Bucks yet.

Matthew and Nicholas Jackson defeated Quen and Kassidy at WrestleDream last month. However, the duo teamed with Daniel Garcia to defeat the EVPs and Jack Perry on Dynamite last week, then offered to split up if they cannot dethrone the champions tonight.
AEW releases special Fright Night vignette
All Elite Wrestling will present its inaugural Fright Night Dynamite tonight from Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio. This episode will continue the build to Full Gear in November 2024.
Officials have four matches and two segments set for tonight's Halloween-themed episode of its flagship TV show. As seen below, the company released a spooky video package to highlight the storylines and matches for tonight.
"TONIGHT! #AEW is rolling into Cleveland for Halloween Eve, as we burn on for Fright Night #AEWDynamite LIVE at 8pm ET/7pm CT on @TBSNetwork @AEWonTV [jack-o-lantern emoji]," AEW wrote with the video below.
The company will continue the theme on Saturday, November 2, which some celebrate as The Day of the Dead. Collision will air live from Philadelphia, with Tony Khan's B-show holding its first-ever Day of the Dead match between Thunder Rosa and Harley Cameron. Kyle Fletcher vs. Komander was also announced, along with Women's World Champion Mariah May defending against Anna Jay.
