Former WWE star Low Ki had some interesting comments about the direction of The Hurt Syndicate. The group is considered one of the top active factions in professional wrestling.
MVP, Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley have reunited the erstwhile Hurt Business faction in AEW, now known as The Hurt Syndicate. The group is being booked as a major deal in the Jacksonville-based promotion after suffering setbacks during their time together in WWE. The trio has yet to compete together in a Six Man Tag Team match in All Elite Wrestling.
In a recent chat on the Thats Wrestling! podcast, Low Ki claimed that The Hurt Syndicate are happy to collect their paychecks if they are not challenging for the All Elite Wrestling World Championship.
"No, because unless either one of them are going for the World Championship, it doesn't matter. They're just happy to get a paycheck." [46:40-46:48]

Disco Inferno calls out AEW for bad booking of The Hurt Syndicate
At the Fright Night edition of AEW Dynamite, The Hurt Syndicate's Shelton Benjamin faced off against Swerve Strickland in the main event. The former AEW World Champion handed Benjamin his first loss in the company. However, Swerve was taken out by a debuting Bobby Lashley to end the show.
In a recent edition of the Keepin' It 100 podcast, Disco Inferno slammed the company's decision to have Shelton Benjamin lose to Swerve Strickland. He claimed that Benjamin did not need the loss if Bobby Lashley had already planned to take out Strickland after the match.
"I don't think you needed the Shelton loss here. If you're gonna have Bobby Lashley have him come out and interfere something. Shelton didn't need the loss. Swerve didn't need the win going with him," he said. [25:00 - 25:16]
Swerve Strickland is set to face Bobby Lashley at Full Gear later this month. We will have to wait and see who comes out on top at the PPV.
