WWE and AEW are seemingly set to go head-to-head once again this Saturday. Wrestling fans have taken to social media to share their reactions to the upcoming programming clash.
Earlier this week, the Stamford-based company's developmental brand NXT hosted the latest edition of New Year's Evil in Los Angeles, California. The event emanated from the Shrine Expo Hall and featured numerous significant matches, including two that saw championships change hands. The show even witnessed a blockbuster appearance from The Rock, adding to the momentum WWE generated with Monday Night RAW's Netflix debut just a day prior.
Recently, it was revealed that The CW will air a re-run of NXT New Year's Evil 2025 this Saturday. As a result, the program will go head-to-head with the January 11 episode of AEW Collision.

"NXT will probably have more viewers," predicted a fan.
"CW said we need MORE after they almost cracked a mil," speculated another.
"NXT has the opportunity to do the funniest thing on Saturday," tweeted a user.
New Year's Evil 2025 saw Giulia dethroning Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Championship, and Oba Femi became the new NXT Champion by defeating Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe in a Triple Threat Match.
