Months of tension between Rollins and The Best in the World will finally culminate in a blockbuster singles match on the RAW premiere on Netflix on January 6, 2025. On the latest episode of Monday Night Show, Punk engaged in a fiery promo battle with The Visionary, during which the latter called out The Straight-Edge Superstar for his supposed efforts to undermine the Stamford-based company following his 2014 departure, including his joining AEW in 2021.

Fans quickly took to X/Twitter to share their responses to the incendiary confrontation between Seth Rollins and CM Punk on Monday Night RAW. While some took the opportunity to criticize All Elite Wrestling and Tony Khan, several others pointed to the success enjoyed by the Chicago native during his All Elite stint, which included an AEW World Title reign and matches against multiple top stars.

Some even remarked on Rollins seemingly acknowledging AEW as a competing pro wrestling brand.
