Despite previous reports of them signing with AEW, a certain WWE Superstar has just teased the arrival of a world-renowned tag team to his company. This would be Motor City Machine Guns (MCMG).
The duo were previously signed to TNA, but their contracts with the company expired a few months ago. It was reported that the top tag team had begun negotiating terms with the Tony Khan-led promotion, but they have yet to debut or be teased in any capacity.
Earlier today, Tommaso Ciampa posted a picture of the Motor City Machine Guns on his Instagram story without any caption. He may be hinting at their arrival in the Triple H-led promotion or simply giving props to one of the current best tag teams in the world.

Many fans mentioned the reports and how they believed that MCMG was already AEW-bound. One said that despite the lack of official confirmation, they thought the duo would fit in either company but may stand out more in WWE.
"I thought they signed to AEW," one fan wondered.
"I thought TK had them signed already? Would be great in either company but think they'd stand out more in WWE," claimed another.
"Since when? Last I heard, albeit months ago, they were signing with AEW," one other fan mentioned.
Another fan mentioned that Ciampa may just be posting about MCMG, similar to the Young Bucks' nod towards them. Other fans were optimistic and hoped that they would decide to go to WWE instead.
"So did the young bucks months ago nun happened," said one
"Dude The Motor City Machine Guns in WWE would be awesome," another replied.
"It's so happening lfg" a fan mentioned.
The Young Bucks also referenced the major tag team ahead of rumors of them signing with AEW
Three and a half months ago, the Young Bucks paid tribute to the Motor City Machine Guns during their match against Private Party as part of a quarterfinal matchup in the tournament to crown the new AEW World Tag Team Champions.
At one point, the EVPs hit Made in Detroit, known as one of the finisher moves of MCMG. This may not have gotten them the win, but it was intentional that the maneuver was used, considering this was not part of their move-set.
At this point, anything surrounding MCMG remains speculation, and fans will have to wait for any official updates and announcements regarding their future in the industry.
