Tommy Dreamer wants to see a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion turn heel before ending his full-time wrestling career. This star is currently a top star in AEW.
The star in question is none other than Bryan Danielson. Danielson’s contract with AEW is expiring on August 1 and while he is expected to continue as a part-time wrestler after that, it is not sure what his role will be.
Now, Tommy Dreamer has called on him to turn heel one last time and that could lead to a great match further down the road. The former WWE star is going to take on Swerve Strickland at AEW All In. Dreamer was speaking on the Busted Open Radio podcast when he said:
“October 12, WrestleDream, heel Bryan Danielson, with Jeff Jarrett in his corner, versus babyface Swerve Strickland, who’s fighting for team AEW to bring the belt back home, because this guy can jump whenever he wants, unless you have to keep on paying him to be there, those are stories.” [H/T - EWrestlingNews]

Swerve Strickland calls former WWE star Bryan Danielson the greatest of all time
Swerve Strickland just heaped the ultimate praise on Bryan Danielson, calling him the greatest of all time. That is surprising given that the two will be taking on each other in a few weeks at the All In Pay-Per-View for the AEW World Championship.
The AEW World Champion was speaking to Sports Illustrated when he praised the former WWE star but also sent out a warning. Swerve admitted that he hadn't faced anyone like Bryan in his career but also warned The American Dragon the same: He had never faced anyone like Swerve.
"Bryan’s not just experienced, he’s the greatest of all time. That’s who I’m going up against – a first-ballot Hall of Famer. I’ve never faced anyone like him. But he’s never faced anyone like me," Swerve Strickland said.
It will be interesting to see what will happen when the two men go head to head at All In. A win for Bryan Danielson will be a great way for him to finally climb the pinnacle in AEW.
