When asked what it meant to receive praise from a legend like Nikki, Storm replied that this is all normal for her since people demand to see her.
"I mean, it's run of the mill. Standard. It's actually quite boring. I get this all the time. The people rave about it. The people demand me. It's no surprise." [H/T Fightful]
Willow Nightingale evaluates Mariah May and Toni Storm's in-ring performances
Toni Storm and Mariah May's match at AEW All In was widely regarded as one of the best matches of the night, especially in terms of storyline. Since this bout, May is regarded as the future of the women's division in All Elite Wrestling.
In a recent interview with Sportskeeda's Senior Editor Bill Apter, Willow Nightingale analyzed Mariah May and Storm's in-ring prowess.
"Strengths [of Toni Storm's], she is super experienced, she is quick to adapt, she has an answer for everything in there," Nightingale said. "She's entertaining. A weakness, I mean, both of these girls that we've talked about so far, if I'm in the ring with them, I have the power advantage. That's their weakness. They're not as strong as me. That's what I'm gonna go for. Same with Toni." [From 05:11 – 05:42]
It will be interesting to see if Mariah May will enjoy the same dominant reign as her former mentor.
