Former AEW Women's World Champion Toni Storm has not appeared on the company's programs for quite a while now. Her last match in All Elite Wrestling was against Mariah May at All In 2024, where she lost her gold.

Just because Toni Storm is not wrestling in AEW does not mean she has taken a break from the business. For the past few months, she performed in the Japanese women's wrestling promotion, World Wonder Ring Stardom. Furthermore, she recently made her CMLL debut against La Catalina in the historic Arena Mexico. Unfortunately, she was unsuccessful in beating her opponent.

The match ended with La Catalina hitting The Timeless One with a diving splash and pining her. Nevertheless, after her defeat, Storm picked up the microphone and informed the fans in the arena that she would return to Mexico soon.

Toni Storm was initially supposed to face La Catalina on the 10/11 edition of Viernes Espectacular

Toni Storm was scheduled to lock horns with La Catalina earlier this month. However, it didn't happen because the 29-year-old couldn't travel to Mexico due to Hurricane Milton. Interestingly, after her flight was canceled Toni delivered a promo in her classic "Timeless" avatar, updating fans about the situation.

"Attention fans & employees of CMLL. As you can see, I am very wet and not in a fun way. For tax purposes, I am currently residing in Florida, and due to Hurricane Milton, every possible flight to Mexico has been canceled like Fatty Arbuckle, after making a series of phone calls, I've been informed that the government does not control the weather. Nevertheless, I regret to inform you that my match against La Catalina has been postponed, but due to the immense public pressure, it will happen as soon as possible." said Storm. [H/T: Fightful]

It remains to be seen when Storm will return to AEW. Many fans are waiting for her comeback and hopefully, she will be back before Full Gear.
