Forbidden Door 2024 has ended, and it is safe to say that the pay-per-view comprehensively met the expectations of wrestling fans. Several memorable bouts and spots from the event will certainly be discussed in the weeks to come.

During the pre-show, The House of Black's Malakai Black and Brody King battled Tomohiro Ishii and Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong and Gabe Kidd, and Private Party in a Four-way tag team match. This match lasted almost nine minutes and ended with Kings of the Black Throne's victory. Consisting of Malakai Black and Brody King, this duo is a former AEW World Trios Champion with Buddy Matthews.

Unfortunately during this hard-hitting showdown, Brody King was in a compromising position, which could have led to a serious injury. Fans were thoroughly concerned about the wrestler's well-being and prayed for his safety. Thankfully, in the post-Forbidden Door media scrum, Tony Khan revealed that the 37-year-old was not in any danger and would continue wrestling.

AEW President Tony Khan mentioned that the move pulled on King was dangerous. He also stated that King was "okay."

"Brody King will be okay, he’s okay. That was a scary move and he is okay, he will be able to continue wrestling and everything’s okay there."

Tony Khan also commented on another major star after Brody King was injured

During the four-way tag team match at Forbidden Door III, NJPW star Tomohiro Ishii hit Brody King with a brainbuster that seemingly did not come off well. King landed straight on his head and fans began speculating that the wrestler could be out of action due to an injury.

Following the botch, Tony Khan also commented on Ishii and said that he was a dangerous wrestler.

"Tomohiro Ishii is a dangerous wrestler."

48-year-old Tomohiro Ishii made his debut in the 90s. Weighing more than 200 pounds and standing at 5 ft 7 inches, he is a six-time NEVER Openweight Champion. Furthermore, he has won the IWGP Tag Team Championship once.

The star has appeared in AEW several times and has previously wrestled Orange Cassidy and Jon Moxley, among others.
