Tony Khan comments on Kenny Omega's AEW Dynamite return

Kenny Omega has finally returned to AEW after being away from the company for more than a year due to his health issues. Following his comeback, Tony Khan spoke about seeing his top star and EVP back in the mix.

The Cleaner came out to the ring in the final segment of the show. He made a heartfelt address in front of the passionate AEW fans who had been waiting to see Omega for a long time.

The former AEW World Champion opened up about the hardest time in his life last year. Kenny spoke about overcoming his life-threatening disease that could have taken away everything, including his passion to compete in the ring and even his life.

Amidst Omega's address to the audience, Don Callis appeared on the entrance ramp. This led to The Cleaner charging towards the man who betrayed him. However, Callis' allies, Brian Cage, Lance Archer, and Kyle Fletcher came to launch a beatdown on Kenny Omega. But in a moment of surprise, Omega's old rival, Will Ospreay came to his rescue and fended off the attack.

Following his return, AEW President and CEO Tony Khan took to his X to reflect on Omega's grand comeback and expressed his excitement to have him back on the roster.

"It’s so great to have @KennyOmegamanX back in AEW TONIGHT on Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite right NOW."

With Tony Khan's company seeing the return of one of his biggest main event attractions, it will be interesting to see Kenny Omega's next run in AEW.
