AEW Collision is facing a major challenge early into its simulcast era on MAX. Tonight's episode, which airs from Akins Ford Arena in Athens, GA, could be affected by the winter storms sweeping across the United States.
AEW stars don't usually "run the roads" like many full-time wrestlers in the past. Rather than driving from show to show and spending much of their time in hotels, Tony Khan's talents are generally flown in for Dynamite, Collision, and PPV events at the company's expense.
Unfortunately, snow and sleet have swept across the southern US this week, causing thousands of flights to be delayed or canceled. The storms have affected the traveling plans of All Elite Wrestling's cast and crew, and Tony Khan provided an update on what to expect for tonight's Collision.
Khan took to X (fka Twitter) to alert fans that although many flights have been canceled, he has an excellent crew driving into Athens for Saturday Night Collision. He also noted that AEW Women's World Champion Mariah May was riding in a limousine:
Meet John Cena's dad HERE
"Travel update for Saturday Night #AEWCollision tonight: Lots of flights delayed or canceled, but there’s a great crew en route to Athens, GA for tonight’s show! Many of them are driving in right now + World Champion @MariahMayx is riding in a limo. See you on TNT + Max TONIGHT!"

The Death Riders' Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and PAC will all be in action tonight, as will AEW Women's World Champion Mariah May. You can check out the updated lineup for tonight's AEW Collision below:
