All In is set to make its debut in the United States under the AEW banner in 2025. Meanwhile, a major WWE show that was recently reintroduced is seemingly confirmed to clash with the All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view. Fans online have now reacted to the development.
The Tony Khan-led promotion announced last year that All In 2025 will take place on July 12 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. This will be the first time the company will host the pay-per-view in the United States after two successful editions in London, United Kingdom. The first iteration of the show took place in 2018, but it wasn't promoted by All Elite Wrestling.
WWE on Peacock has listed a Saturday Night's Main Event for the same date as AEW All In: Texas. This seemingly confirms that the global juggernaut will go head-to-head with the biggest event produced by All Elite Wrestling in North America.
The announcement has drawn varied reactions from professional wrestling fans on X/Twitter. Several viewers came to All Elite Wrestling's support by putting down WWE. They accused the global juggernaut of attempting to sabotage the Tony Khan-led organization's biggest annual show.
"WWE is such a garbage company," a user commented.
"Tony got them shook 🤣🤣🤣🤣," a user tweeted.
"People who claim AEW is not competition must of not hear about Pepsi vs. Coke," a fan tweeted.
A fan claimed that AEW was still thriving as a company. They believed that WWE CCO Triple H and his team saw All Elite Wrestling as competition and wanted it gone from the industry.
Another user wrote that AEW had been better than the Stamford-based company. They claimed that Saturday Night's Main Event going head-to-head with All In: Texas would be horrible. The fan also mentioned that RAW's Netflix debut failed to live up to the expectations.
Tony Khan might add top AEW star to the All In Texas match card
Tony Khan has been gearing up to bring his company's premier event to the United States. He reportedly has plans for a mega match involving a top star at All In: Texas.
According to the Wrestling Observer, Khan might have plans to book Kenny Omega in a mega showdown at All In: Texas. The Cleaner is rumored to face his longtime rival, Kazuchika Okada.
The Jacksonville-based promotion already teased the match at the 2024 Worlds End pay-per-view when Omega returned to the company to confront Okada. With All In: Texas still a few months away, it will be interesting to see the road to All Elite Wrestling's biggest event of the year.
