AEW President Tony Khan recently announced a blockbuster match for Ricochet on Dynamite. The star he will face is Beast Mortos. He has been signed to AEW since 2023 and mostly wrestles on Collision and ROH. He returned to Dynamite last week to take out the newest AEW signee.
The Highlight of the Night made his magnificent debut at All In London where he was a participant in the Casino Gauntlet Match. Despite trying his best, he failed to win the contest. Later, Don Callis called him out and challenged him to face Kyle Fletcher on Dynamite. The duo wrestled in a highly athletic contest, with Ricochet picking up his first victory in AEW in the end.
On the latest edition of Dynamite, The One and Only faced Sammy Guevara in another spectacular match. After defeating The Spanish God, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion was ambushed by Beast Mortos. As the latter was about to inflict more damage on him, Sammy stepped in and saved the newcomer.
Recently, Tony Khan took to X/Twitter to make the match official between the former WWE Superstar and Mortos for Dynamite this Wednesday.

Ricochet claims he isn't jealous of Will Ospreay
The One and Only is known to be a close friend of the current International Champion and also reportedly played a huge part in him becoming All Elite. The duo recently teased facing each other on Dynamite a few weeks ago.
While speaking with the Battleground podcast, The Highlight of the Night confirmed that he wasn't jealous of Will Ospreay in any way and has been communicating with him for a long time.
“I don’t think anybody is jealous of anybody in the wrestling business, really. I mean, I’m sure there are, but again, my core - my people, my circle, the people that I’m around - nobody is jealous of anybody. And again, I’m sure there are egos, and there are people. But as far as we go, we’ve been in contact basically the whole time,” he said.
It will be interesting to see when the high-flying duo meet each other in the ring in the Jacksonville-based promotion.
