A WWE legend’s in-ring return was officially announced by Tony Khan. He also announced that there would be a first-time alliance between two stars in AEW.
The legend in question is none other than Christian Cage. Cage has been away from the ring for a while now as his last match was on October 16 when he defeated Jay White on Dynamite. Since then, a lot has transpired which has seen Hangman Adam Page seemingly turn to Cage as his ally.
Khan took to X/Twitter to announce that the two will be forming a team for the first time to take on Jay White and Juice Robinson in a grudge match.
"This Wed, 11/13 Bridgeport, CT Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite TBS at 8pm ET/7pm CT @JayWhiteNZ + Juice Robinson vs. Hangman Page + @Christian4Peeps. At war vs. Bang Bang Gang, Hangman Page will team up for the first time ever with his only apparent ally: Christian Cage On WEDNESDAY!" he tweeted.

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross thinks Adam Copeland was bigger than Christian Cage
Christian Cage is clearly the most effective heel in wrestling today but WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has revealed the opposite.
JR has been seeing the two stars from their time in WWE and he revealed recently that he thought Adam Copeland was the better star between the two. He was speaking on his Grilling JR podcast when he said:
"Well, have you looked at him, Conrad? Can you tell them apart? Of course, you can. I'm being an a**hole. He [Edge] had it. Wow, that's interesting. Well, I do, I do. It's an opinion. His look, Adam had a big-time premium look. He was very well received by the audience, whether he was doing comedy or being a heel. He just had that intangible."
Given how Christian Cage has been playing his heel persona very well, it will be interesting to see if he will have something to say to Jim Ross about his opinion in the future.
