Tony Khan has officially signed a popular tag team to AEW, which is a move that will shock many. This will no doubt boost the tag team division and bring some much-needed competition.
Over the years, Khan has signed a lot of popular tag teams, from FTR to the Young Bucks. They have gone on to have great success in the company. To add to this, Tony Khan has now signed another team, and they are none other than Ross and Marshall Von Erich's team.
Marshall and Ross are Ring of Honor Six Man Tag Team Champions with Dustin Rhodes. They announced the news on their Claw podcast, where Marshall said:
“Today, on this day, we can officially say that Ross and Marshall Von Erich are officially signed with AEW. The 12-year journey, it's not an expensive hobby anymore.” [H/T Fightful]

Ross Von Erich thanks AEW president Tony Khan
In the same podcast episode, Marshall’s brother Ross Von Erich sang praises of AEW president Tony Khan and said he is helping keep the Von Erich name alive.
He also said they have been working for this moment their whole lives.
“This is kind of the thing we've been working towards our whole careers. We knew it would be on a big major scale, and this meets every parameter with that. It means a lot for the Von Erich family and, not to kiss Tony [Khan's] butt, but he kind of single-handedly is keeping the Von Erich name and dream alive for us. He's going to have our loyalty forever because of that. More than anything, we're super excited for this day,” he said. [H/T Fightful]
It is great to see such appreciation for Tony Khan among the Von Erich family. It just goes to show the kind of man Tony is and how he takes care of his wrestlers.
