Bryan Danielson is currently one of AEW's top stars. Tony Khan recently provided an interesting update regarding the Washington native's future in his promotion.

Since his debut in the Jacksonville-based company in 2021 at the All Out Pay-Per-View, Bryan Danielson has become one of the most respected figures in AEW's locker room. The American Dragon recently won the 2024 Men's Owen Hart Cup by defeating Hangman Adam Page in the tournament final and is thus entitled to a shot at Swerve Strickland's AEW World Championship at All In 2024 next month.

In a recent appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, Tony Khan discussed Bryan Danielson's victory in the Owen Hart Tournament and his last run as a full-time wrestler in All Elite Wrestling. Upon being asked whether he wanted to retain the services of the former WWE Champion, the 41-year-old AEW Ceo and President responded in the affirmative, voicing the bold hope that Danielson will continue to be associated with AEW for the remainder of his life.

Khan also revealed that Bryan is supposedly planning to stay in the promotion for a considerable period of time moving forward. Interestingly, the 43-year-old star had revealed in May that his contract with All Elite Wrestling was set to expire before All In 2024. However, Danielson now has the opportunity to win his first world title in the company at Wembley Stadium against Swerve Strickland.

“I hope Bryan will stay here for the rest of his life. I know he's planning to stay with us for a long time going forward, as part of the company. Hopefully, I would want Bryan to stay with us as long as is humanly possible.” [26:54 - 27:06]

Tony Khan wants Bryan Danielson to finish his wrestling career in AEW

Tony Khan has been outspoken in his admiration for Bryan Danielson and the work the latter has put in since he arrived at AEW. During an interview with CBS Sports a couple of months ago, the All Elite Head of Creative revealed that he wanted the former ROH World Champion to conclude his decorated pro wrestling career in his promotion.

"I would like Bryan to stay, in a perfect world, forever here in whatever capacity he'd stay with us in. I'd hope that Bryan would finish his wrestling career here. I would do anything to make that happen. I want Bryan to stay with us, wrestling as long as possible. I know that he's talked about an exit from full-time wrestling, which is what he's been doing this year whenever he's been healthy," Khan said. [H/T - CBS Sports]

Given the productive collaborative rapport that he shares with TK, it remains to be seen whether or not Bryan Danielson will continue to be a part of All Elite Wrestling after his full-time career draws to a close soon.
